    Radio EPG

    I have been using All Channels in the mapping. Oddly when I left this box blank the Radio channels magically appeared. Everything now seems to be working perfectly and both TV and Radio EPG look good. Thanks for all your help.

    Radio EPG

    Got all the TV channels working with XMLTV and Digiguide but the radio channels do not show up on the mapping in despite the radio box being ticked. The TVguide.xml files does contain that radio EPG. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Radio EPG

    Thanks again. I shall check out your references and have another look at the XMLTVGUI settings.

    Radio EPG

    Thanks Lisa. I have installed Windows Digiguide on my PC on a 7-day trail basis with username and password. I did notice the Digiguide grabber on XMLTVGUI. Could you explain what parameters need to be set to define the Digiguide channels and get the grabber to function?

    Radio EPG

    Mediaportal 1.7.0 HotFix for me is close to perfection and the team are to be congratulated. I do have one problem. I run dual satellite tuner cards for TV/Radio services and get the TV EPG using XMLTV. This gives a wonderful Sky-like EPG display and only requires an update of the database from...

    Music tracks stop early

    I'm finding when using MUSIC under MP 1.6.0 that tracks stop playing about 5 seconds before reaching the end. This results in either the music being chopped prematurely or the next track starting with almost no delay. Comments appreciated. Many thanks.

    Actor listing missing from movie database

    Thanks for the explanation. It's good to hear that 1.6 gets around these problems more easily and presumably more quickly.

    Actor listing missing from movie database

    Problem disappeared when I upgraded to MP 1.6.0 Final.

    Actor listing missing from movie database

    I recently started a movie collection and have been using the video database feature in MP Configuation to set up movie details. Everything works OK but I am missing the listing of actors. All that appears on the screen and in the database editor is the director's name. I'm using IMDB AKA and...

    PowerScheduler++ 1.4.0.x - Stable versions for MediaPortal 1.4

    Thanks for your comments Michael. After some experimenting I finally got PS++ to work OK. This involved reinstalling the plugin and doing some system restarts. I'm letting it use the default Windows controller. It's a fine piece of software and I'm pleased to have it running again. Tom

    Sorry - S/B is short for standby!

    PowerScheduler++ 1.4.0.x - Stable versions for MediaPortal 1.4

    Hi: I have been successfully using PS++ with earlier 1.2 versions of MP but recently installed MP 1.3.0. Final with PS++ 1.3.0.2. I just cannot now get PS++ to initiate S/B. The S/B is set to 2 minutes for HTPC but it appears from the logs that Windows is controlling standby rather then PS++ and...

    PowerScheduler++ test versions

    Sorry for not being specific enough. The glitch I have had recently with PS++ was failure to carry out a scheduled reboot. It seems erratic and it is possible that the system may have malfunctioned for other reasons. Additionally I have been occasionally having "TV Service disconnected". I think...

    PowerScheduler++ test versions

    I have also had a few glitches with reboot (and other things not related to PS++) and now I have simply scheduled a daily task directly under Windows which just runs a BAT file with the single DOS instruction "shutdown -r". It's a bit of a cop-out but things are now more stable.

    Custom Data Grabber including Sky UK Channel/EPG Grabber

    I got Radio services back again by re-scanning some channels. The comment on the Radiotime plugin was of course on irrelevant since it uses the internet source. However I'm still finding that when the MP Radio button is used the TV Guide gets reset to Group 1.
