date format

I am just starting out with MP2. I have my computer set to display the English style of date format i.e. DD/MM/YYYY but MP2 displays date in the American format e.g. MM/DD/YYYY. How can I change it? I am puzzled as to why MP2 hasn't picked up the OS (Win10) style of formatting and used that?

The date shown for tv recordings does not include the year, even though the year has been included in the 'date format' in the 'home' plugin in configuration. I like to keep some recordings permanently and showing the year can be really useful. You can of course go to the actual recorded file...
