Synopsis::

When I schedule a single recording from the EPG, instead of just 1 dvr-ms file being created, there are several created (anywhere between 3 and 8 files). The last dvr-ms file to be created holds the bulk of the recording. The others all seem to created during the first 5 or 10 seconds of the program.

I noticed this initially on MP 0.1.3 and now on v0.2. It was suggested to me (in the general support forum) that this was a bug.

UPDATE: I think I've cured the problem. It appears that there was a bit of a conflict within the Haupauge drivers. I completely uninstalled the WinTV drivers as per the Hauppauge instructions, downloaded the latest drivers and re-installed (following the instructions this time...).

I've done 6-8 test recordings and all recorded correctly.

That's interesting. I've experienced the same problem, and it is still happening occasionally, but I don't have a Hauppauge card.

I'll be installing a new Compro T200 DVB-T card this weekend, along with another 512MB RAM. I also want to switch to using PVR Scheduler, so I will do some test recordings and try to get some logs. Will probably upgrade to latest CVS release as well.
