Many of the internal plugins have the same duplicate code which makes adding a feature for all plugins a tedious task. All this duplicate code should be consolidated into a shared base class.
Additionally, there's always been a confusion with the GUIFacadeControl, as internally, in code, it's called 'ViewMode', but in UI it's called 'Layouts', and is also confused with the Switch View (DB View) that most plugin implement.
Renaming 'ViewMode' to 'Layout' promotes consistency between code and UI and removes confusion.
