for MediaPortal - 1.1.0 RC1

it is now 1.0.0.7 - but i am still working on it.
so new version numbers will be given ...
if there is a BUG - it will be fixed
and with every bug last number will change.

based mainly on the Core-Reloaded and of blue3wide

BIG THX to djohansson for that cool and fantastic skin "core reloaded",
which i used first - and also to the designers of the blue3 (mostly harley)
- that skin helped me a lot understanding HOW the XML files are created and work ...
(but still learning ... )

Re-Created Drive-Free-Space
it is now for 24 HDD's - helpfull @ Mutli-Seat Installations
or little LAN's with a few NAS or other kind of Net-Drives...
(the freak in me - i got 10 HDD's in TV-Server -
with 18 partitions... good to have "control")
plus 2-4 partitions in the client ...


if Drive-Free-Space is deactivated in the
Media-Portal-Configuration it'll be invisible in the settings.

also changed all kind of DIALOG's like record-conflicts, timeshift-dialog a.s.o.

resized a few hover-grafics - so the packet is a bit smaller and faster (i hope)

NEED A FEEDBACK PLZ - if the installer works with it
couse mine here on my PC seems to be buggy
could not re-install my own MPE1 packet

EDIT: if it is not working -
a normal .rar packet is also available...

Works with MePo 1.1.0 RC1

so if u find any BUGS - please find and report

I love to try new skins - but also like screenshots of them before I download anything.

i'll edit the firs post in a few minutes with better screenshots ...

those where i have posted in the first are lousy - i know -
but my PC in the office is a bit - hmm lowpowered - couse he has to "fire" 3 TFT's @ the present
but it was enought to built that skin

give me a few minutes - i 'll take some more , ...
and bring them up.

today i'll try to fit in the covers again in the "smal-icon-view" @ myMusic ---

and - again - the through shining of the cover-art @ myVideos
if anybody could give me a hint how to fix that - would make me very happy ...

also i noticed that the filmstrip-view @ myMusic - the cover does not fit 100% at the top
(see at myMusik-04.jpg first post) ...
i'll try to reduce the size of the thumb to fit better ....

the row of tv-cards-in-use @ the small-tv-guide has to be fixed ...
(in my eyes the exit button does not really fit at the possition it is @ the present)

and i still need a little help by creating/finding new hover-Icons.

i only can handle google-sketup (but i think i am good at it)
never have done some "hover-icons" ... i now a lot of people using
photo-shop - but i never used that program ...

how can i make the backround of a JPEG "tranparent"?

would also help if anybody has a good link for those ICONs ..

i'll try to fit in the font in the list view.
but changings in the common-facade.musik.XML don't have any effect
is there an extra XML-file for the list-view?

found something more to do

the view of the EPG ist bad readable with its transparence

but i cant find the right XML-file for that kind of fiew ..

brought up two more screen shots ..

and a update version of the core-re-reloaded. (@ the first post here)

- the fanart-thing is ok now and works in the filmstripview @ myVideos and myMusic
and as you can see i did it really soft - so it can be seen in the backround -
but does not disturb the Covers ...

- fixed some font sizes and coordinates in "programm-info" ...
(but could be that i have dammaged some dialog-XML-files ...
if yes - pls post the bugs)


hmm and i think i have found a name for that skin now ...
but until i don't have found the right hover-grafics it will
be the core-re-reloaded ...

i found some fine hover-grafics.
at the moment i grapp them and deside which i use in tha skin -
the skin wil be no more the core-reloaded

it'll be :

Dark-Essentials

- backround.png maybe will be changed in next version (not sure yet -couse i like it the way it is)
- hover-arts will be changed
- name wil be chaneged

hope to up that new skin-file today or tommorow.
