When trying to upgrade an TV Server install from 1.0.0 to 1.0.1 the option to upgrade isnt available (not clickable) and only allows a fresh install.

Have tried on one of the client machines and the upgrade option is available.

Is it possible to upgrade a TV Server instance? :D

Do you have SVN build? I have SVN build and it explains on the bottom why upgrade is disabled.
Nope, no SVN evenr installed, just a plain install of TV Server.
It is installed to the d: drive.
Have run the installer on one of the clients, and it upgraded fine, and that was installed to c:\

I guess I'm in the same boat, it's not SVN build in my case either probably. I just assumed becous of error in installation. I think it's issue with stand-alone TV server installation.
Checked Procmon what registry keys are being access and it appears to be failing if MediaPortal key is not found under Uninstall branch.
Here is what you need to do (if you have TV Server only install).
Install 1.0 (Don't choose that you'll be watching TV during install). Download it here http://sourceforge.net/project/down...ediaPortal_1.0_Setup.exe&use_mirror=softlayer.
After that install upgrade. So far it worked fine.

Thanks, looks like I'll be waiting until version 1.0.2 comes out before I update my system. Hopefully not too long a wait, as I have the problem where connection to TV server is lost every time I wake the PC up from sleep mode. And I have to reboot the client PC each time (no keyboard attached, only MCE remote). Luckily it boots up pretty quick with the SSD drive in there :)
