1.0 Client with 0.2.3 server (1 Viewer)

Hi all.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to run the new client (1.0RC3) against an old server (0.2.3)?

I've tried and the client seems to connect to the server but it can't connect to the database. Is this impossible to do or is there a fix/workaround for it?

Been running (and loving) MediaPortal for a while now and would like to make a gradual move to 1.0 since each member in the family has their own client and I don't have the time to change them all at once.

It was working for me with client in RC1 and server in 0.2.3
Not tested with latest versions

It's highly recomended to use exactly same server and client SVN versions. Otherwise there is most likely lot of random issues that could be happening.
