Hi Atreides

Unfortunately thats my limit i'm afraid, once we get to having to study logs then I'm as lost as you, only other thing I can think of is, you do have S3 standby set in your Bios? because without this set you will not be able to go to standby at all.

Pete

Just re-read your post and see that your TV Service is not closing down? you have set MP Standby handler to stop TV service under the suspend Tab? as that is exactly what was wrong in my setup, TV Service would not allow the computer to go into suspend, and it was MP Standby handler that cured it for me. I can only suggest that if you still have problems with standby that you post in the MP Standby Handler forum and the Dev of MPS should be able to help you out.

Thanks for your help pete, I really do appreciate it. I do have TV and MP to stop on suspend and start on resume with MP standby handler. but the weird thing is standby handler actually makes my comp. worse. I have it scheduled to wake up at 6:30 every mon-fri and now it isnt doing that, and last night it woke up but the TV service didnt start for a recording. This never happens when I don't have MP standby handler on, so I dont think it is really helping me. Unless I have it configure totally wrong, but I dont think I do. (I've read the forum on it and followed one of the developers set up guides for it) So I guess I am back to the drawing board. I think I am going to check the my MB bios again to see if I missed anything. Thanks again.
