1.16 pre didn't play mp4 videos (1 Viewer)

    I just tried to play mp4 videos for the first time with this installation (fresh Win 7 direct with 1.16 pre).

    When I try to play mp4 videos (out of videos, MovingPictures or TV series) they played as music file.
    Even in debugging mode without any plugins.

    When I delete .mp4 from the music extensions, there is no plyback, just an error message (see log).

    I will try to repack a testfile to MKV to see if it works, but I'm pretty sure its not a codec problem. I think its more an extension handling problem.

    The testfiles are from PAL to 1080p Youtube downloads.
    They work all fine on my old 1.15 installation.

    This looks like it is caused by the same issue as your other thread:

    Fix musicdsp.xml and I guess the problem should be solved. If not, I guess it's probably caused by your PureAudio plugin. Try to reproduce the problem with Watchdog option 1 (3rd party plugins disabled).
