I've just done a fresh install of Win7 x64 and MP and TV was working yesterday, so I don't know what's happened but I can't start the TVService anymore and there's lots of strange errors in the logs.

Not really what I need on NYE when I've got friends coming round soon, so if anyone could help me get it fixed quickly that would be great.

    Code:
    2011-12-30 18:50:44.703288 [TVService(6)]: TvController: Deinit failed - The database backend (provider MySQL) could not be reached.
    Check the connection string: Server=X4;Database=MpTvDb;User ID=root;Password=MediaPortal;charset=utf8;Connection Timeout=30;
    2011-12-30 19:15:07.968228 [(18)]: card: unable to connect to slave controller at:192.168.2.1

    You do have MySQL installed? It seems that the problem is here.

    Since you have 64 bit Windows, I think you need 64 bit MySQL as well. However, I'm not 100% on that.

    Yeah, MySQL was installed with MP and it's in Program Files so should be 64-bit.

    I can run a repair on the database just fine with "mysqlcheck mptvdb --auto-repair -e -u root -p --password=MediaPortal" as well.

    I don't know if it's having issues with the Loopback adapter, but without being able to open TV Server config I don't know how I could change the server address again.

    EDIT: Seems the problem is PowerScheduler++ as I reinstalled TVServer and it worked fine, until I reinstalled PS++ 1.2.5.6. I've reinstalled TVServer again and it's OK now. https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...ediaportal-1-2-x-1-3-alpha-87446/index52.html
