After more testing I can confirm that this completely fixes the issue when using MPAR in combination with OV.
So whats the next step?

Too late for that as we have started to test possible release builds. But this could be added for the 1.3.0 RC.

Isn't OV non-core plugin? Fix was done on OV source filter that should be free of MP releases.

*facepalm* why did I think that the MPUrlSourceSplitter was part of MP.

With next OV release will be MPUrlSourceSplitter fixed. It depends on @offbyone when it will be.
