Hi.
I don't get the following to work.
When I place every movie in it's own folder and browse the share in folder view I have to enter every movie-folder before I see the movie and can start it. This is different for DVD and BluRay folders where the movie is started directly when selecting the parent folder. Also movie information from nfo file is displayed at the parent level for DVD and BluReay whereas for other movie types I have to enter the folder to see the movie information from nfo file.

Is there a way to make BluRay, DVD and other movie types behave the same way when every movie has it's own folder or is this impossible by design?

From what I've read in the docs here it got the impression it should be possible.

Thanks

it's not possible to read/start movie, on folder directly as you describe, you need to enter in folder for display NFO and start it. it's Bad i know
I would like to have, as you say, but is not possible for now, because this need change in Core files. and as you know changes are limited/selected !!!

When the rework of myvidéo was made, in 2012 by Sig. @Deda NFO was not supported yet,and he has added it to Myvidéo, and i would have like have as you !!!
    - Nfo displayed info on folder
    - Play movie with Playbutton on folder directly

but seems to be not possible to make it

only @Developers can say if, they can or want working on it !

    What a pity.
However thanks for verifying and confirmation.
Technically it should be possible. For the folder.jpg it already works as it should (being displayed before entering the folder).
IMHO same logic should apply to NFO file.

    Cheers.
