for the one using the matrox G400 , i am trying to as well, but i cannot get any video playback that is acceptable, the only one that plays well is overlay, but then my hud flickers and is extremely hard to use, both the vmr9 don't work. thanks

I'm running on
Hauppauge 150 MCE
1Ghz AMD Athlon
256 MB RAM
32 MB Matrox G400

All MP features are do'able, but I get jerky TV-playback (the recorded video, however, looks astonishing).

I think my gfx card is the problem.

How did you make MP work with a G400? I have the exact same specs (except my cpu is a 1GHz PIII).

When I first started up MediaPortal it complained about DirectX9 compability, and told me to install the full DX9 SDK.

I did so, and the program is now able to start.`

All menus are extremely slow though....
Are there any special settings that has to be set to make MP just somewhat usable with the G400?
