***Nevermind, I'm an idiot*** I mistakenly had the resolution set at 1920x1200. Durr!
[/edit]

16x9 videos used to fill my screen entirely, both in MP and WMP. I believe this problem started after I was messing with my screen resolution to try to get the Olympics to fill more of the screen since NBC doesn't have fullscreen as an option. Later, I found that Firefox can zoom. Anyway, the resolution is set back to what it used to be (1920x1080) but now WMP plays everything with an approx 1-inch black bar or margin at top and bottom on my 50" TV. It must be squishing the picture vertically since it's still filling the screen width-wise. Windows is still filling the screen so it's only the video playback that is an issue. Any ideas? I'm posting in the codecs forum since WMP does this outside of MP.

Thanks!
