A tale of woe. Running the installation wizard for music always ends with the same message in the title. If I hit continue the wizard does not retain any of the setup info when I run Media Portal the next time.

So what is this error message? Would be good for the program to remember what file my vast music library is in and display it when I click on music. As it is it keeps displaying every possible file that might contain music.

All I want to do at the moment is use it for music - other functions can wait. Before I uninstall it for good can someone please tell me how to fix this error?

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
application or machine (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
rather than being handled by this dialog.

Hi,
I was having similar problems too. Searching for answer in forum found your post. I found if I ran Mediaportal first time as administrator the first run wizard would run without the exceptions your experiencing. Then Media portal will run under power user group which is my everday account group. Maybe this info will help. :lol:
I don't know enough of C# or Dot Net to know reason why it is so.
