First about iMon remote... (my English isn't best one so I hope I'll be successifull with explanation :-)).. It has one button which can be moved in all directions and function like mouse pointer devices on notebook keyboards (you know what I mean?). I must say that I do not use it for moving mouse pointer because it wouldn't be the easyest way to control MP. Remote has one button which switch between two modes, first is using pad for controling mouse and second mode is for emulating keyboard cursor arrows. Well I use it in arrows emulation mode and problem is with precision. Since it can be moved in all directions and it is very sensitive usually I got efect like I pressed thow arrows at once (insted it goes up it goes up and left) and it is quite irritating. It would be better if it had four separate keys like arrows are on keyboard. About cutting the hole in case... hm... if you dare to cut your case probably it would be better to get one iMon VFD device first and to see if it is possible to disassemble it because a lot of case manufactures bundle iMON VFD in thair cases but not in a way to mount it in 5,25" slot. They usualy cut smoller window just for the display and mount it without 5.25" frame. So maybe it would be better option and sure looks much better... bye
