However, when I watch something encoded in VC-1 (i believe it is) in a TS container, I get extreme CPU usage ranging from 90-100%. I had to rename the files from .ts to .ts.wmv to get MediaPortal to play them, even though I have the .ts extention added to my list of suported formats. I can see in my filter graph that WMVideo Decoder DMO is used to decode the files, even though I have given MPC Video Decoder highest merits in RadLight. Do you guys have any suggestions? I tried overclocking my 5050e+ from 2600mhz to 3000mhz but that didn't do much. </p><p></p><p>What is the difference between WMV HD and VC-1? Why is WMVideo Decoder DMO used to decode these files and can it be true, that they take up so much CPU power?</p><p></p><p>The video plays back relatively smoothly, but the sound stops and comes back again all the time. I can see in ReClock that ReClock's CPU usage drops to 0% and then returns to 5%-10% when the sound comes back. I don't know if this is because there simply isn't enough power to run ReClock at the same time or..</p><p></p><p>Any suggestions would be appreciated as I don't know what to do now.</p><p></p><p>Best regards.</p></blockquote><p></p>
