Ref your psu, if you are wanting a smaller case micro-ATX like the motherboard is then I would make sure you have a smaller psu as a standard ATX psu will not fit into most microATX HTPC Cases.

    Hi,

I'm not 100% certain, as I don't have a bluray drive, but I don't think MediaPortal supports playback of BluRay disks.

    Best wishes,

    Mark

so you say that motherboard and cpu is compatible with hd movies/ blueray/h.264 ?

This is the talking point. HD Rips will play fine with Hardware Acceleration with the motherboard you have. However playing Blu-ray disks you will have to take a look at a "workaround". There is one in the forum somewhere, search playing blu ray.

the tv card compatible with the motherboard and media portable ?

It should be fine. If they have BDA drivers. I can't confirm this as I only use DVB-S cards.

and the power supply compatible with them cases ?

The power supply will fit in these cases

thank you DJBlu a think a would only be play hd rips / h.264 and if wanted to play blueray disc a would use me ps3 and just check me tv card drivers for Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT - Twin DVB-T Digital Card PCIe slot (x1, x4 or x16)
    and there have bda drivers

    TerraTec - Products - TV - DVB-T (Aerial) - TerraTec

I use Terratec Cinergy 2400i DT - and it works fine... Only thing is, that it's a bit sensitive Re: signal strength, so you might want to consider this before purchasing...

Regarding memory, use 2 sticks rather than one, otherwise no dual channel support, and I think the standard 2x1gb should be ample for all your needs, whether Vista or XP.
