Here is my experience of 2.0 with HVR1300, all good except:

After a fresh install I ran the main program and went straight to setup wizard.

a) It asked me three questions when I began, one question was rather odd. - How will you use media portal = Yes/No. I clicked the radio buttons, nothing, I then realised I had to hit the yes/no buttons.

b) As soon as scanning started on my HVR 1300 (digital) it immediately crashed so had to configure everything manually through the setup program (no wizard appeared by default when running this program). Looks like Mantis bug 0000626 to me. Below is exception.log:

----------------------------------

ExceptionType: System.InvalidCastException
Message: Unable to cast COM object of type 'System.__ComObject' to interface type 'DShowNET.MPSA.IStreamAnalyzer'. This operation failed because the QueryInterface call on the COM component for the interface with IID '{FB1EF498-2C7D-4FED-B2AA-B8F9E199F074}' failed due to the following error: No such interface supported (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80004002 (E_NOINTERFACE)).

c) I still have issues minimizing/maximizing/full screen/windowed mode. It could be logged under Mantis ID 0000721, but I'm unclear with this. I think this but needs to be be escalated from a minor bug. Full details in this thread (anyone care to give comments here?):

Hope this is helpful. I hope later service packs (SVN's?) concentrate on clearing through the bugs in Mantis rather than new features (just my opinion).

Keep it up guys! Thanks!

Note: SVN builds are NO service packs, they are experimental test versions! Just wanted to comment that.
