I have 2 floppydtv cards (DVB-C) in my system. and the following happens:
A show is being recorded -->> Card 1 shows >Recording<
when watching the SAME channel the OTHER card is timeshifting ?
    So nothing free anymore ?

I remember that with previous versions of MP the same card would be used for the same channel when recording/timeshifting. It even should handle channels on the same transponder i thought ?

Is this a known bug ? cant seem to find any bugreport about this problem ?

as a bonus, when recording 1 channel, and timeshifting the same one, 2 cards are used, and to be recorded shows are just not being recorded
timeshifting is not stopped to record the scheduled show at all.

    FOUND THE PROBLEM.

THE TVSERVER WAS AHEAD IN TIME .

when the TVSERVER is more time ahead then the program playtime you will experience above behaviour.

AW: 2 cards are being used for recording and timeshifting the same channel ?

I'm sure your post will get deleted if you don't post logs. Without logs nobody can help.

well there is nothing wrong with the cabling , it keeps coming back with

2011-03-22 19:57:30.842613 [(19)]: card: WaitForTimeShiftFile - no audio was found after 15,0072263 seconds
    2011-03-22 19:57:30.842613 [(19)]: card FireDTV BDA Tuner DVBC: StopTimeShifting user:woka01 sub:1

no audio found... and then uses the other card...

does anyone have the same problem or is it just me :)

i've seen this from time to time too but thought it is SAT related / bad signal strength or so...
