Hello,

now i have installed the second MP2 Client and connected it to the MP2-Server.
When i start the TV on one of the two Clients as second one, then the video stops on the first and the second can't play any TV.

The Problem is only if i tune to one private HD-Channel.

The free HD-Channels "Das Erste", "ZDF" and so on are no Problem.
But i thought with one HD+ Card i can decrypt up to 4 TV-Tuner?

My Hardware is a Digital Devices Cine S2 v7A and a DuoFlex S2 with Digital Devices CI-Modul.
I use the Cine S2 v7A and CI-Modul with HD+Card so many years. The DuoFlex is new, but works also, cause i tested it with one Client first.

Is there a problem with MP2? (see logs attached)
Or a Hardeware Problem?

Hello,

i tryed it again and it also went wrong.
At the first try a can look two encrypted channels. (RTL HD and ProSieben HD)
Then i changed the channel on the "Keller-Client" and the video on the "Wohnzimmer-Client" stops, but the Audio runs still ahead and on TV Server it looks as the tuning run without any problems, but the video stops.

Then i stoped the channel on "Wohnzimmer-Client" and start a new channel, then the video on the "Keller-Client" stops but Audio are still there.

I attache here the Server-Log and in the next two the other two Client Logs!

Could it be that my HDD for the timeshift folder and record folder is to slow for two clients?
Perhaps timeshift cannot be accessed quickly enough.
But i thought if there is a bottle neck this would be the network.

Now i tryed the TV Stream with a Kodi Client and with an MP2 Client.
Same issue!

As soon as the second stream starts, the first stream freeze the picture!

Any idea?

Is there a difference if i configure the file size from 256MB to 512MB in the timeshift option in TV Configuration?

This has nothing to do with decoding, just how much space to reserve for timeshift.

The decoding of programs is a different topic...

I think it could be simply not possible to decrypt 2 programs simultanously by your CI / CAM combination. The CAM stuff is quite complicated and not all features are the same way supported. What you see is the 2nd request tells the CAM "decode channel 2", while it already decodes "channel 1". If it supports multiple programs, the CAM could decode both, or just decide to decode only the 2nd one. In this case you would be limited to 1 channel and should configure this decoding limit on the card to avoid kicking other client. The 2nd client will get "no free cards" then of course.

Did you try it before with the DD software? Or with other card before?

No i only tested it with MP and Kodi.
What do you mean with other Card?

I tested it today many times.
In 30% of all channel changes it works. Then i can see all two HD Channels without Problems. But then I am no longer allowed to change channels.

If i change channels it is high risk that the vidro or complete stream get broken.

The DuoFlex is new

I was referring to the DuoFlex, did it work before better?

We could try, if the TVE3.5 works better, as there has been a lot of rework in this area. But it would require you to install a custom MP2-Server version. I had published a build to forum before, but download link seems to be missing now. So if you like to try, I have to create and publish a new build
