I never disliked the name MediaPortal. I just called the fact that if 50 HTPC solutions end up with the same name, I myself would prefer something else. And as MrMario64 opened the door, I guess its OK to investigate the possibility. Even thou Media Portal is great, it does not mean that there are even better names which hasn't been thought of yet...

On top of Google is superb. A little supriced on how easy we got there. But, yes. Let´s stay there...

Yeah we changed the header of the page a week ago so that google will better index it. And with succes I may add.

Question is WHEN did they announce it MediaPortal has been on SourceForge since April with the name "MediaPortal". It is first come first serve with a product name. Not sure about the trademark name though. If I remember Frodo is in Europe and they my handle trademarks differently.

I do however like the remote 2wire has for their "MediaPortal" product.

their interface is a lil cleaner. i cant wait till ur able to rip a CD via MP. Cant this be integrated already since this is a built in feature of wmp9?

It has to be something unique... I was thinking:

Folioerapiodarios since that would probably not be occupied... or mediaholic or "skinnable application made in C#" SAMIC for short. BetaMax... hmm might be occupied... or Los Portalos or why not give it a sign and everyone can refer to it as "The program formaly known as Media Portal"
