Hi,

I am loving mediaportal at the moment. My dvds are slowly getting put on pc and everything is starting to get just how I like it. However there are 3 issues I am struggeling with. (I am using streamedmp skin)

1. How to stop my currently playing video while in the menus. i.e. I am watching a video and press 'back' I can then brosw my collection whiole the video continues to play.

Pause works fine, however the button stop does nothing (the stop button that can appear at the top of the screen does work) I have tried using event ghost to map keyboard shortcuts to stop and everything and it just doesnt seem to recognise it inside the menus :(

2. Sometimes when I boot my PC up before I turn on my reciever mediapoprtal doesnt fill the screen. It is as if mediaportal belies 720p is the max resolution when in fact it is 1080p. The only way I have found to correct this is to close the program and reload it. Has anyone else had this problem/know a solution?

3. Can I map a button to put my currently playing video back to fullscreen? i.e. I am watching a video, but press back and browse my collection. If I want to go back to my video I can press (with the mouse) the button top right that looks like a rectangle. Is there anyway I can map a remote button to this functionality?

Thanks in advance guys

Hi,

because of your older potings, I expect that you are using the harmony one and you use it as "Microsoft MCE remote".

1. Mediaportal->Remote->Microsoft MCE->Mapping
Check the stop button. There ou have to choose "No Condition", "Action" and "Stop".

2. no idea.

3. If I understand you correctly, you mean the Show GUI action. The shortcut on Keyboard is "X", I mapped the yellow button.

Same as in 1. "Mapping"->e.g. "Teletext specific buttons"->"yellow"->"no condition"->"no condition", "Action" and "Show GUI"

I hope I could help you.

Hi,

Correct :) However my mappings seemed to not work perfectly.

So I have gone down the route of using Eventghost to map by remote buttons to keyboard shortcuts which invoke the commands I desire

1. Mediaportal->Remote->Microsoft MCE->Mapping
Check the stop button. There ou have to choose "No Condition", "Action" and "Stop".

I will look into the other actions "No Condition" and "Action" this evening. Thank you :)

2. no idea.

I will have a play with this tonight as well :)

Thanks for your help.

    No. 2 Looks like the "Windows 7 half-fullscreen" issue. It is a known issue which may have a Workaround for you (search for half-fullscreen, there is an almost endless thread there).

    3. Usually this is the Red button.
