Good Day

I have a few questions:

1st A movie that is not supported by any of the default database example imdb, is there a way I can manually add the information my self? I have figured out the Cover art by renaming the art the same as the movie.

2nd A movie that has been saved as a Video_TS folder. How can I get the cover art for this file if imdb does not have it in its database, I have named the .jpg to moive.jpg, Video_TS.jpg I have even copied the .jpg to the dir of the Video_TS folder. Any ideas?

3rd When I go to My Videos I have a list of Dir's all containing a movie, the ICON its self is blank but when in the Sub Dir the art is there alog with the imdb info. I can go back to the Dir and right click the Dir and pick imdb and it will download the cover art and save it to the icon, is there any easier way to do this?

Hope someone can help out.

Regards, Hamish

You can manually add info. Go to MP Configuration; Movies; Movie Database; Editor.
You can also add coverart there.

Not sure about the coverart in video_ts folder. Did you try folder.jpg?

Have not used it myself, but I noticed a setting under Movies; General for "Every movie has its own directory". Maybe you can try that o read up on it.

rekenaar is correct. If the cover art is not recognized/imported automatically, you can import the cover art from a local drive manually in MP Config. It is then stored (in XP) by MP in the C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\Videos\Title. I'm not sure were it is in Vista.

This option only lists the movies the were found in the IMDB database, I could not select a move in the Video folder that was not listed by IMDB.

folder.jpg inside the dvd folder will do it for VIDEO_TS

Don't be confused with the name Folder.jpg simply name it folder.jpg it does not need to be the name of the folder. Hope this helps.

Thank you all for your help
