Did you ever solve this problem? I'm having a similar problem now playing 3D SBS MKVs from a laptop through a cheap Finlux 3D TV - the two images display side by side, then when I select SBS on the TV menu it has that major ghosting - it's like the two images are too far apart. If you sit far enough back you can see a 3D effect but it's nowhere near watchable.

Nope, i play the file directly on the tv now, as MePo simply does not handle 3D the right way, my tv has media player, to i just play all 3d directly on the tv, not using mepo :(

Could it be because that the 3D movie you are trying to play is 24hz and that MP automatically switches to match the refresh rate of the movie? The movie is in 24hz and your default refresh is probably set to display 50 or 60hz.

In CCC you have to adjust overscan in all the different refreshrates that you use. 24hz, 50hz, 60 hz

I am able to play 3d content by playing the side/side video in MP, then switching the tv to 3d mode. You have to make sure that you have the correct zoom set, like stretch vs non-linear stretch which did not work for me. I also have overscan set to 0% but I don't think that made any difference for me.

i have the same issue, i corrected the problem by going into the display settings menu on my remote and going into the 3d settings and change the overall 3d effect and the 3d depth.

its mainly the depth that causes the boarder tho, i notice this with anything i run in 3d.

i currently find that setting the overall 3d effect to 3 and the depth to about 7 plays ok with minimal ghosting and boarder.

but im a little annoyed with samsung, i find its smart tv isnt that smart (when youtube lacks the flash support on the tv to play all vidoes) and that you buy a 60" tv to find when you enable 3d your screen is getting reduced.
