With my DVB-C card TV watching with existing channels works fine but even with a full scan no channels are found:

Is your port 554 free?
Maybe the firewall is blocking the port.

TV Server and TV Client run on the same system. There's no firewall in between.
TV watching works.

Well, not for scanning.
The streaming server deliveres the content to the client over RTSP connection.

Hi @Pablik , I also have a problem: I just wanted to install the x86 version WorldWeatherLite.1.0.2.x86.mpe1 and got the message "Package is not platform compatible"

Hi, where did you get that package? It might be an old version published on this thread earlier.
Did you try the MPEI or the official web page?
