All other channels switch over fine within a second or two.

Can anyone please explain why ITV HD takes 52 seconds to appear - I didnt have this issue before with this channel, perhaps issue started with upgrade to 1.6

Logs taken immediately after the 52 second wait

    Thanks[DOUBLEPOST=1396788406][/DOUBLEPOST]better logs here

Looking at the logs it seems to be something to do with the TSReaderPlayer- see normal channel change

The log excerpts you've identified show that the delay may be server side.
Logs from the server required please.

Something is really funky there. The latest entries in the TV service log files are from 5 April but the entries quoted above are from the 6th. Latest entries in the TsWriter log are also from the 6th.
    Full HDD on the server?
    Tried restarting the TV service?

Looking back at the older attempts to tune ITV HD (from 29/03), it looks like your tuning detail is out of date:
    [2014-03-29 20:05:50,145] [Log ] [25 ] [INFO ] - dvbs: Tune:DVBS:tv:BSkyB ITV HD Freq:10936000 ONID:2 TSID:2056 SID:3852 PMT:0x121 FTA:True LCN:10000 SymbolRate:23000 Modulation:ModQpsk Polarisation:LinearV InnerFecRate:Rate8_9 DisEqc:None band:Universal Pilot:Off RollOff:ThirtyFive

According to king of sat, ITV HD is no longer on that transponder:
    http://en.kingofsat.net/pos-28.2E.php

So maybe you need to rescan?

    Ahhh, I see.
You've got access to ITV HD from the satellite and the aerial. You've merged those two sources into one channel. When TV Server attempts to tune it is hitting the satellite tuners first. Since your satellite tuning details are incorrect, it tries and fails to tune with both satellite tuners (approx. 20 seconds each) before succeeding with the first DVB-T tuner.

Fix your satellite tuning details and I think the problem will be solved. :)

I thought is was something like this and re-scanned a couple of weeks ago. But still was the same, maybe I did something wrong

    Let me try again.

I will report back, many thanks

Make sure you click "update satellite list" before rescanning, and delete the incorrect tuning details too.

Went into TV Server Config>TV Channels>Channels tab and right clicked ITV HD, then edit channel and deleted the Satellite row.

Then went into TV combinations and searched for similar channels on the aerial cards, found the new Satellite ITV HD locations, combined them and hey presto problem fixed

    Many thanks, case closed

edit: I had already rescanned a couple of weeks ago so the new tunings were just sitting there
