The only media that actually has real 7.1 sound is blueray or hd-dvd with a truehd or dts-hd track. So basically my point is your system is probably playing like it should. Trying to force 7.1 output would only add 2 "fake" channels made from mixing the sound of other channels.</p></blockquote><p></p>
