A few Mepo 1.2.0b questions (1 Viewer)

Hi Guys,

A couple of questions about Mepo 1.2.0b:

1. Whenever I watch Channel 4HD or BBC One HD, I get audio descriptive over the top of the picture. I know how to change it to the ac3 audio by pressing the i button but how can I change it so the the ac3 audio is the default?
2. I remember in a previous mepo version there was an option to set a program reminder from the guide, where is this in 1.2.0b as I cannot find it.

Not sure about the first one as we don't get freeview HD here yet, the program reminder is accessed by pressing Info (if your using an MCE remote) and it's one of the options in the pop up list

You can set the "prefer AC3 sound" and "prefer audiotype over language" options as described -->here<-- in our wiki. Alternatively, if the language of the descriptive track is different than the language of the AC3 track then you may also be able to do it by preferring the language of the non-descriptive AC3 audio track (the preferred language settings are in the same section as the settings mentioned above).

Still there. Right click on a program (or use f9... or something to bring up the context menu) and select "set reminder".

Thanks, that audio descriptive was really beginning to bug me.

Right, set a reminder for a program at 9pm and I got a sound played when the reminder kicked in but the live tv picture froze and the reminder that I assume should have been on the screen, wasn't. The only way I could clear the issue was to press the green button and enter live tv again.

Any ideas??

Is that repeatable?
Others may be able to guess the problem here, but I for one would need to see logs. Please use the watchdog (info -->here<-- in our wiki) to grab logs for a situation where you set a reminder and are able to observe the freezing behaviour described above.

Ok, seems to be skin related as works perfectly on default skin so I have thrown this over to the Avalon developers.
