Hi. First of all, thanks to all the hard working people for makeing MP so wonderful.
I have a few questions I would like some help answering. :?:

1: In MyWeather no data is loaded when the plugin is started. I have to press Update, and then the data apperes as usual. Why don't the data load on plugin start?

2: When I press "Start" (the windows logo) on my remote (PVR-150MCE), I get a "MISSING OR INVALID FILE: BASICHOME.XML". How do I get MCE Basichome?

3: It seems alot of the mapping to the remote is lost since I began useing MP 0.2.0.2. Can I copy the remotecontrol mapping from a file in my old MP folder?

1. As soon as you go into my weather, it should download the data. You should not need to click on anything to update. Why this is happening, I do not know. I always like to do a very clean install of MP every time I load a SVN or patch file. Maybe doing a fresh install might be in order.

2. In your MP settings you have "start with basic Home screen" selected. There are only a select few skins that use this feature (bluetwo, 3DMP, MP360, PMIII). I do not think anyone has gone back in to update skins like MCE, metal media or project X to support this feature. I would go into the setup and uncheck that if you are going to continue to use the MCE skin.

3. Yes, you can copy over your old remote xml file to your new install. I have been doing this for a long time. I use my USB-UIRT and have everything set up. Saves me a ton of time of doing it over and over.

I have the same problem with the weather plugin.

I have to click on 'refresh' for it to update

EDIT: I did a fresh install, and also have the latest mp version.

Just for the record I'd like to say that the Weather -> Refresh thing happens to me as well.

I actually thought it was WAD, annoying, but as designed, since it has behaved that way ever since I started using MP (0.2.0.2).

This same problem has occurred for me since the release of 0.2.0 and the stable patch.

After testing this... you guys are right. I have 0.2.0.2 patch installed and after starting MP and then going straight to My weather it does not work. I think if you wait out the refresh time (set to 120 minutes now) it will refresh when you go back in. I am pretty sure this is a bug becuase it used to work every time before.

I agree - It used to refresh right away when a user went to that page.

1: I'll just have to wait for the bug to be fixed.. Just did a "Format c:" so I guess I have a fresh install!

2: ASiDiE >> Still not working. Also tried changeing the action to "Home". Guess I'll install 3DMP - Could anyone drop a link to the newest download?

3: Good timesaver (should be posted under Tips&Tricks). What is the mapping file called? (???.XML)

Not a "big deal", but since it used to work it kind of annoy me :lol:
