Mercbac, I think it is difficult to track down your problem. But If I had to guess I would say your Motherboard or Chipset Driver is the problem. You have problems with 4 different DVB-S2 cards (3x FloppyDTV, 1xTwinhan). This suggest that the cards are OK! I would do a clean new install of Windows and try with original drivers. Or first disable FloppyDTV in DeviceManager, remove Twinhan with "delete driver for device" (in Vista possible), Restart system, install original Twinhan again.

    Further points:
    - did you connect an extra power cord from PSU to the Twinhan? Did you try first without CAM-Modul with FTA channels?
    - is your satellite dish correct? Did you test it with a normal receiver? Do you find cannels like that?
    - do you connect yout TV-Card directly to the satellite dish LNB? (no passthrough through receiver)?

    Kszabo,
Thanks again for thinking with me! Your point about chipset drivers is something I have also been considering already and I will look into that!

    For your other questions:
    - Yes I connected power cords to all my tuners whenever they were in the system (2 FloppyDTVs and 1 Twinhan). My PSU is a Corsair HX620W, which should be ample for this system.
    - My dish and LNBs work perfectly fine with my Topfield PVR4000 box.
    - My tuners are now connected directly to the LNBs on the dish. I used DiSEqC switches with my Topfield for several years and removed them in order to remove a possible problem source with the HTPC.

I'll investigate if there are other chipset drivers and see if that helps.

ok, hopefully somebody can tell me wich card i need for diseqc.

as i read in the tv-server configuration, under the diseqc motor, there's a big warning about using it.

it says it needs a diseqc 1.2 motor and a card wich at least provides 500 mah to the motor.

i have a technotrend s2 3200 which, after some research, gives a max from 400 mah.

thats why i went searching for an other card wich can provide atleast 500 mah on diseqc 1.2

    but thats a big hassle.

as i looked in this tread i read about some good dvb-s2 cards, skystar hd2 / Twinhan AD-SP400.

on investigating the max output power, the seem to have 400 mah max also.

so does anybody know wich dvb-s2 card provides atleast 500 mah ?

i cannot really help because I do not have diseq but I know that the Technotrend S2-3200 takes the power from the PCI bus of your motherboard and the Skystar 2HD / Twinhan has its own power cable. This should be important.

Since yesterday i've a slitly working solution with Skystar 2HD/DiabloCam/Pr*****e S02

IR Remote doesn't work, i'm back to X10

Some Probs occured with Emu@Diablo. S02 Card works, Sat HD Programs are stuttering very much (Maybe Codec?)

But now we have a weekend to prove and enhance :) this solution

Any recommendation for a good DVB-S2 Card (with or without CI Slot?)
Currently I'm using a Hauppauge WinTV 88x Video Card, which could be replaced.
In addition I got a FloppyDTV /CI for DVB-C. Anybody using two FireDtv / FloopyDTV-Cards in the same System?
    Any help highly appreciated.

Now I created a new thread here, since my specific problem is out of topic for this thread, but just to attract more readers who might just offer a hint to help me solve this....

Now I use Diseqc also. But only a diseqc 1.0 switcher (costed 8€) for 2 LNBs. MP 1.0.2 works flawlessly with my Technisat Skystar 2HD with this setup. Setup in MP TVServer was very easy. Switch between the 2 dishes is fast, nearly as fast as zapping o one dish. Another gratulation goes to MP Team!
