Using latest svn as of 2/7/08, MP crashes with Microsoft Error Reporting message, but MP keeps working. When I try to standbay (via mce remote button or within mp) it doesn't standby because of the error reporting message waiting for answer (send, don’t send). I have to restart the computer by selecting restart from MP, then I can standby once computer has been restarted.

If I look into the system log I find: A request to suspend power was denied by DW20.EXE

Is there a registry setting to force suspend?

Thank you all.

OS is XP, and using admin account.

There is an option in the PowerScheduler called "Force the system into standby mode". Doesn't Windows have a reg hack to implement this into its own standby action?
