ac3 bug seems to persist in MyTV (1 Viewer)

Hi,
i am using a Skystar2 in MP CVS version of 0.2.0. i am updating very often (nearly daily) and have this since about 6-8 weeks.
If i am switching to a channel with ac3 sound from a channels with no ac3 sound, MP crashes (Kabel1 -> Pro7(german channels)), and other way same problem.
i found out a strange thing: If i restart MP(not Windows) after this first crash, and first switch some channels with same audio stuff, and THEN switch to an ac3(or non ac3) channel it works, but takes more time than switching between "same audio channels".

log does not say something useful, but in Windows Eventviewer i get an .NET runtime error. btw: I have 2.0 installed

Does anyone have an idea what this could be?

Unfortunately I cannot help you with the AC3, but I have a question: are you using the 0.2.0 RC2 with CVS?
I am asking it, because I cannot make the SS2 working with the RC2!

Yes, I have installed everything as it should.
I have written a bug report on this problem, which I cannot solve (http://nolanparty.com/mediaportal.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=11984).
With 0.1.3.0 and 0.2.0 RC1 is working, only with RC2 is not!!!

I solved partially my problem with an old version of the TVCapture.dll file (1.0.2137.42163), see my other post.

Back to your original problem, I have tried to reproduce your problem, but with the above TVCapture.dll file is not happening.

I tried to change Kabel1 -> Pro7 and ARD -> ZDF (and viceversa), but the AC3 sound is always played correctly.

I am using Cyberlink codec for video and ffshow for audio, maybe the problem is the codec.

BTW, the channel change is really slow.

I have updated my system with SP2 and installed the latest TVCapture.dll file (1.0.2195.1866) and I have reproduced your problem: changed from 3sat to pro7... MP crashed!

Hi,

I have the same problem. SS2 with RC2 generally works with some channels but crashs if you change to some special channels like Pro Sieben. I tested with nvidia codec Dscaler and some other, no change.

Hope someone will fix this problem
