im sorry about the poor explanation. I will try again

when im watching tv or a movie and go back to MP home menu i can watch the movie in a small frame on the bottom left corner but when im trying to switch to wallpaper mode (dont know what else to call it) there is no error and the little bottom left screen disapears and i can hear the movie but the home screen background does not disapear (becum transparent)

I have this working on 2 out of 3 computers but i cant figgure out whats wrong on this last one. Thats why i need your profesional help

Try Making a backup of your Existing MP folder from one of the pc's that works ok.

Go into that folder and go to the database folder, then delete TVdatabase.xml and any other .xml files that are different from the PC you will be dropping this folder into.
If you are using a different TVcard, you may have to delete the capturecard.xml in the MP folder as well.

Now try overwriting your existing MP installation folder with this one, reboot and see if anything changed regarding homescreen use.

Specifications of pc sound sufficient and obviously make sure any Microsoft updates, are the same on all machines. especially anything to do with media or DX9.

i found that if you do a clean install and use blue2 skin it works

Hi Nissse, when you say a clean install, you mean mediaportal, don't you?

I'll make a backup of my mediaportal folder and do clean install ,thank you very much.

Hi again I don't know if this has been already stated, but I have found that the wallpaper function only works if you don't change the UI CALIBRATION.
