What do you think about having characters available for custom views and searches?: c3po, indiana Jones, James Bond, Agent Ryan... Is that an easy to do feature request, Guzzi?
Maybe it's a little useless, xD

Hi z3us - so you mean a view like actors, but not the names and instead using roles?
Should be not too hard I think - biggest issue probably is "unclean strings", as often you have not only the role, but also "as" or "als".
I'd suggest to add as feature request and I deal with it in the context of person stuff (I already added virtual view for all persons (including all different types).
Actually, you should already be quite fine using global search to find what you're after - did you test that?
