Adding movies within MP (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Maybe a stupid question and maybe it has already been answered, but is it possible to add movies from within MediaPortal instead of manually add them from the plugins configuration?

When Mediaportal starts and I copy a movie to the movies directory, Moving Pictures won't show the new movie.

If you name it correctly the movie SHOULD appear automatically. If the name of the movie is a close enough match the plugin autoapproves it, but if its not you have to go into the plugin config to match it manually. This will change in a later version tho, so you can fix it from within MP.

The name of the movie should be something like this: "Moviename (2xxx)"

it will add when it can automatically approve the movie, if not, it will wait for user approval.
You can't just pop it in the watched folder btw and expect it to instantly appear in the frontend (inside Mediaportal environment) it still needs to download covers, backdrops and details...
But be sure that the plugin is able to auto approve (naming conventions are around here somewhere...)

Yep that's right. The scheduled task to support in GUI match approval is here. Ignore the scheduled milestone though, i think it will come before 0.8. I need to spend some time thinking about priorities this week.
