adding new screens (1 Viewer)

hi, i want to add a new screen but i don't know if that's possible without writing a plugin. the screen is basicly just selecting and hyperlinking, but how do i force mp to load an xml file that it doesn't knows?

you will need to write a plugin for that.
should not be that hard to do it.

ok, wrote that plugin and it's working as expected

if anybody is interested in it i could email/ upload somewhere - so just say -
anyway there should be no problem writing this on your own

Ralph, the plugin is doing nothing than creating a new screen to be loaded (from myAdditonalScreen.xml)

i just needed it because i wanted a screen that isn't availalbe in MP yet. On this screen is nothing done than linking further to other screens (as the plugin is doing nothing as i said)

it's just when you select "Music" in homescreen it will hyperlink you to myAdditionalScreen where you can select if you wanna "Play CD", "Show Playlist", "Open Playlists" and so on.
