Well - sorry folks I have given up trying to get MP to work with a sky stb. Can't even get a tv signal after weeks of trying. Never even got a reply (other than commiseration) in the forum. Sooooo disappointed as I really wanted to move from MCE to MP.
In desparation, I tried GBPVR and - guess what - they have a specific plugin for sky users. It worked first time so I am going to have to go with them.
My advice to anyone having the same problem with MP and sky stbs, is to try gbpvr. It is not as classy as MP but at least it works
I'll continue to monitor my threads here, and the forum generally, in the hope that someone comes up with an answer.
