Ok these are what i think are discrepancies\bugs in skin, whether all fixable\possible will have to wait and see 
Home Screen : Still seeing bunching of left part of menu on launch and is there a fix for mouse movement losing background.
TV : EPG, move bottom timeline arrow (green) outside of channel list, also would it be possible to have summary in its own box, as this becomes unreadable on a light background, no summary recorded TV list view. (Fixed Trevor)
TV : TV main on\off and record\Alert me both use grey for there focus buttons, black as rest of menu would be nice, Scheduled, menu rather than scheduled recordings has focus.
PICTURES : Same display as Music in Icon view, this is a request, just like it.
PLUGINS : My Emulators not showing in plugin menu, News text overlapping icon. (news fixed Sambal)
PLUGINS : MyFilms, text overlapping cover, no background should look same as MyVideos, MyShowtimes to have background.
TV : TV Search, if you do a search, text is overlapping
DVD - MOVIES : No play DVD option in menu.
After a couple of hours this is all i could find, this is of course limited to what i have installed in the way of plugins.
Had to double up, or this post would be a mile long.

Regarding the BasicHome.. Do you have the WindowPlugins.dll with RSS ticker? If so, the extra controls must be added to the BasicHome.xml for the crowding fix to work. If you have the original WindowPlugins.dll and the original BasicHome.xml from release 1.0 it should look okay.
I still haven't got any idea how to fix the mouse movement losing background.

Updated TVGuide and MiniGuide
I have updated the TVGuide and the MiniGuide, also added support for channel status iconds to the MiniGuide but that part seems broken in MP currently (RC2 + current SVN) always show the same Icon.
The archive contains the icons for channel states so the cache will need to be deleted.

Home Video
I'm not sure if this is where to make this post; but because this is the skin I would like to use I’ll ask here. I have not yet installed MP. For this reason "home videos". Currently I’m a windows home vista MC user. But I like the looks and layout of MP better. But one stipulation that I (rather my wife) has is that we need to be able to watch family home videos that are in .mod format. I've been looking around the website for a few weeks now trying to find this information out on my own prior to asking what may be a stupid question. It's obvious how to setup for myVideos. So how to you set MP Aero up so that I can have both movies and then family movies. Other things that I would like to have placed on here is the option to play my music videos that are already on my computer and not streamed. So:
What I’m trying to learn is:
1. How do I play Family Home videos through the Aeon interface?
2. How do I play music videos that are currently on my computer?
I am new and have done quite a bit of searching and have learned a lot. I plan on already backing up computer prior to starting this project. What I do not want to do is waste a lot of time to find out that something can’t be done. I'm not looking to be spoon feed, just need some information on either the correct terminology to do searches for or where to find correct info. what I’m hoping for is that I won't have to go towards the competition (Meedios)

For The Record Update
This is an update to the previous skin files I uploaded last week. Now had chance to go through them, sorted out a few issues and cleaned things up a bit. Also now include the required media files (taken from the Blue Two Wide version).
