After changing merrit FFD-show settings MP NO video wil play (1 Viewer)

I have installed the latest 0.20 RC CVS

I changed some ffdshow settings, merrit, levels and post processing.

uninstalled FFD and reinstalled -> no effect
uninstalled FFD reboot installed -> no effect
played avi in VMR9 mode in mpc -> works
played avi in VMR9 mode in wmp -works
tried clean RC 020 version -> works because VMR7 is still enabled, CVS builds that have VMR7 removed dont work

played avi in MP -> wont play
played mpg in MP -> wont play
played mp3 in MP -> works

whats going on?? the only fix I know is a complete reinstall of my windows and I dont like that Sad

it appears to be a MP codec/DX9/VMR9 problem .
Can anyone give me a hit

Never mess with codec merits unless you are absolutly sure what you are doing. Those reinstalls are just to painfull.
