Hello all,

This is my first post..

I have a problem with the channel listing when using Mediaportal.

Basically, I scan the TV channels using the seperate set-up executable. I can't use the one from the main mediaportal program becuase it crashes.

Anyway, from the setup program, it finds all my channels, but then when I load up mediaportal and go the TV Guide, only about a half are shown.

I am missing my ITV channels and plenty of others. However, I consistently get all the BBC channels.

I know its not a reception problem, as I've tried both the sandard Hauppage software and SageTV (trial version) and they both pick up all the channels with the same aerial setup. I am using the Crystal Palace Transmitter, and checked that I have all the frequencies listed.

does anyone know how I can fix. Thanks.

Hi,

it may sound a bit stupid but I did not notice that the first time I used MediaPortal as well: In the MiniEPG (press return while watching TV), there is a group name (such as "BBC Group" or something like that) at the top of the window. Try changing this to "all" and then scroll the channel list.

If this is not the problem, I'm afraid I can't help you and one of the MediaPortal experts has to jump in.

Regards,
Sven
