Check your log in settings, have you another user, ie .net account delete it.

This is really my last thought on this one, something is resuming Windows itself with a mouse\keyboard movement, drivers would be out of the question causing this, it has to be the OS.

PC is resumed by Powerscheduler, as it does start correctly two minutes before scheduled recording. It used to work perfectly for several weeks, but I noticed that the behaviour had suddenly changed some days ago.

    I noticed that the setting

"Turn monitor/tv on when resuming from standby"

was off. I turned it on and now it seems to work.

I'm certain that it was activated earlier, however I've both upgraded and downgraded MP several times so this settings might have also changed at some point.

    Aaaaarghh, needed that.

Can we put fixed against this, let us know tomorrow.

    Feel much better now. :)

    Hi all,
I'm suffering this problem since very long time.

Core problem is the "D3DDeviceLostException". Please tell us if this exception is gone after this litte change, because I cannot believe that this should solve this issue. My guess is a driver/hardware problem that does not re-initialise the VGA correct after resume.

My workaround is to use "Hibernate" instead of "Standby". That solved the issue cause the re-init sequence after resume is somewhat 'deeper' or harder than the resume from standby.

    Regards
    Gerd

After further testing I can now confirm that the issue was not fixed by the change in settings. Even though the home screen was shown, for example the plugins were not reinitiated as my case's display stayed off as long as I touched any buttons.

However, there seems to be now something else broken as well, because MP was unable to connect to TVE after standby. I requested TVE and MP to restart after standby and now it seems to work (knock on the wood). However, just a week ago standby always worked instantly without need to restart the programs.
