Howdy all..
I just purchased a Gateway PC that included a tuner card with 1 analog and 1 digital tuner under Vista. The card is not listed as supported by Media Portal. (I don't fault MP for this). It works fine with Windows Media Center of course.
I know MediaPortal uses DirectX and I'm curious why all DirectX cards aren't automatically supported?
Question 2... one feature I'm looking for is categorizing recorded shows. ( My shows, my wife's shows, kids shows, family shows, etc). It seems that MP (and everyone else) doesn't seem to have this feature. Surely I'm not the only one trying to manage 100s of recordings for various family members. How do folks deal with so many recordings?
