Synopsis:

My TV Provider is Casema, they use Irdeto2 Encoding.
I'm using an AlphaCrypt 3.08 CAM.

I've tried several settings for the CAM in de Twinhan setup, viaAccess, Alphacrypt etc.. but the channels are not decoded.
I've tried to manualy set the encoding type in the config file for the card in the database directory, tried: Irdeto,Irdeto2,Alphacrypt but the same error keeps popping up in the log:

The setup works fine in MyTheatre, but i'de like to use MediaPortal
Unencrypted channels work (there are 2 unecrypte Mpeg2 HDTV test streams on the network.
Also some other channels which still seem to work with the old viaAccess encryption als show. (No matter what the cam is set to)

Anyone have any idea's ?

Same problem with Multikabel.
Have:
Windows XP SP2
AMD 2400+ on DFI AD 77 infinity motherboard
1024 MB ram
Tuner: Twinhan DVB-C cab-ci (2033 Mantis)
Driver 1.0.1.6 BDA
Mediaportal 2.0 rc 4

I can find all the channels, but I can watch only one (Nederland 1 FTA) All the scrambled channels are blank. And I get the same error in my log as you did. I don't know what it is, but I don't think it's the alphacrypt as it decrypts with the program provided with the tuner card. With the BDA driver 1.0.1.6.

If you have the answer please let me know. I want to use mediaportal too.

Mine is still recognized properly with the 1.0.1.9 drivers.

Did you install them with the installer exe, or did you use the device manager to update the driver and pointed it to the inf directory ?

There are 2 inf files, one in the inf dir and one in de xp dir under the driver folder.

The driver installer uses the inf in the xp dir, which should be the correct one

Its not a c# Problem.

the problem is in the MPSA Filter (c++). This filter needs a new function which converts the regular pmt into a ca pmt.

and the MP Twinhan classes need a new Api Command. But I dont know if the "old", working twinhan cards do like this command.
So the problem could be to get the mantis working without harming the functionailty of the old cards.

I am currently working on getting information how to convert PMT to CAPMT.
Implementing is not the problem
