Alternative WebEPG Grabber for Greece (1 Viewer)

Hello,

Am i able to use this grabber with the ported to the TVServer version of WebEPG? Cause it doesn't seem to work.

Yes you can. Unfortunately the site (tv.pathfinder.gr) does not respond correctly to the EXPECT http header. To workaround this you need to add the following inside the <configuration> tags of tvservice.exe.config and setuptv.exe.config:

  <system.net>
    <settings>
      <servicePointManager expect100Continue="false"/>
    </settings>
  </system.net>

I have attached a sample tvservice.exe.config to see how this should be added

Hi,

The site used by the included grabber for Greek channels (www_in_gr) is not always updated resulting in empty EPG. I've put up an alternative grabber that uses tv.pathfinder.gr instead.

Unfortunately the site does not respond well to EXPECT / 100-Continue headers, so they need to be disabled using the attached WebEPG.exe.config (after all WebEPG does not really benefit from EXPECT headers since the POST data are minimal and disabling them will in fact save one round-trip for each request). If you already have a WebEPG.exe.config with other settings, add the following line in the appropriate section

<servicePointManager expect100Continue="false"/>

I took the liberty to enhance the grabber for Greek channels that arion_p kindly perpared for us with some extra channels (mainly from the Nova pack). Besides the extra channels, the grabber as such remains unchanged, so you still need to replace the files tvservice.exe.config and setuptv.exe.config in your MP with the attached modifed versions.

Don't forget to repeat the process everytime you install a new version of MP, or a new svn.
