Have posted request on DVBViewer forum, but I agree with you that I doubt we'll get much resposne, which is fair enough, but worth a shot. I can confirm that the card works perfectly with PrgDVB6 also (the free version). Can anyone confirm please, who is watching this thread, that the standard transponder list of channels and settings works fine for Eurobird, Astra 28.2 - if those settings work fine with another DVB-S card then I guess that narrows things down - in particular the use of QSPK which isn't in the settings, but is in KingofSat listing and on the DVBViewer settings. :thx: Just a thought/question after doing more research. Is it possible that the DirectShow filters/modules making up the graph? are not set correctly. I don't know exactly how all this works, but I assume (dangerous game) that the s500 dba compliant? driver gets the parameters, which I assume must be correct, and the driver passes signals to the "graph" comprising of various modules/filters the output of which is then identified/monitored by the part of the program that indicates no signal is present. I again assume that this monitor is not seeing the actual output from the driver itself, but from the graph. Is it possible to detect the actual output from the driver, even if this doesn't make sense. Or is my thinking just rubbish - lol Going to bed - again, so will be in touch in 12 hours. btw I lived/travelled in NZ in 89-91 - Auckland, Kaitaia, Wellington and Upper Hutt, don't know why I left really. I miss the beaches and Vogel bread, green lipped mussels, fresh caught snapper and the flaky yeast on my salad - none of which you can get here in the UK. Gordon :)
