Hi Orion,

You were right, reinstalled and the tool did as expected from the start, even with the scripts supplied. I assume I didn't do a clean install the first time and had some leftover config messing things up. Works fine now.

Hi, going back to the NFO import request. I think most people who would like to see this would have NFOs which are set up to be used by XBMC to import to its database.

I have these types of NFO for every movie on my hard drive (created using "XBMC companion") and would love to be able to import them into AMC using your updater. This way I'd have the exact same details, cover art and maybe even fanart on my Mediaportal as on my xbox using XBMC. Please, please try add this import.

Yes, I too would love to see XBMC style NFOs being able to be imported into AMC Updater. The NFOs are set up like XML, so should be fairly easy to imort. Along with movie data, if the NFOs were created using "XBMC companion" then maybe it could also import the fan art and cover art it creates also.

AMCupdater crash

When i press change view (myfilms) and then choose amcupdater, the amcupdater just crashes. can anybody help ?
I have tried different versions of amcupdater, and i use Indigo 2.4 and myfilms 4.7.9a

I have this same problem although when I look at the logs, its doesn't show any details from today. Just shows details from last film I added outside of mediaportal.

when I go to select view to update movies, I just see a mesage saying amc updator crashed, media portal still worked as normal after clicking off the error.

I'll attach the logs anyway and also ascreen cap.

I see that you have Vista
As I have no Vista installed, U cnn't guaranted yhat it works with it. :sorry:

Is there anyway i can do the following:

When it searches, and i have set it to "Try to find the best match automatically"

I'm mostly presented with 10 choices where it's in 99% of all searches is the first one found!!! But where can i select to use the first one found!??

And why is the filter case sensitive?? It should not be case sensitive! every time i enter a filter word. ex dvd, then i have to write DVD, DvD, dvD also... Getting my point!?

i just install Ant Movie Catalogue 3.5.1.2 and AMC updater can not parse XML file.

Can you update AMC?

AMC is a external software, not created by Zebons or any MP developers.
Its starnge. Did you creaqte your database with AMC or with AMCupdater?
