Hi

The grabber I'm using is the last one I could find posted in this forum for IMDB.xml . I think you posted it some time ago. Is there something else I should try that will give me English data?

Hi
its been a while any chance of getting a script that will work for English IMDB?

Hello,
I'm just trying to import some flim with amc updater.
unfortunately, i've got an ''error parsing xml''

After search, I've found that it was a film that brake the parsing.
movy number 194

See the attachement.

As this movie was imported by ant movie, I've you an idea what's hapening ?

Best regards
Tonio

ok, i've found.
There are hiddend caracters witch are bad parsed :
FS, and GS.
I've found them by opening de xml file with notepd ++.

Can the xml parser autorize this hiddend caracters ? It will be very useful for me !!

A+

Hi,

I tried to make a script for DVDFr.com website (see here) , but their result page numbers start at 0, and AMC Updater seems to replace _x0023_Page_x0023_ by 1 for first page.
So if I remove "page_x003D__x0023_Page_x0023_" from URL item and make KeyNextPage empty, I've got only first result page.
And if I put "page_x003D__x0023_Page_x0023_", I've got results from page 2 and more, and "Film not found" for single page result.

Is it possible, for future versions, to add a "First result page number offset" option ? :)
Or is there a trick to do that ?

Yep, I just forgot to reply here :) .

These mods doesn't work, I tried many things but nothing worked.
I really think AMC Updater needs a "First result page number offset" option to get this working.

(Thanks to help me, btw)

AMC Auto Updater Error

I have been using ANT with the MyFilms plugin for a while. I update the files with AMC Auto-Updater version 0.8.7.0. Everything has been great until the last couple of days.

The updater runs through the existing files in the XML database and then stops saying it cannot parse the XML file. The balance of the files are all read as orphans or it stops running completely (in which case the MyFilms plugin doesn't work properly - i.e. it doesn't see all of the movies or won't pull up the images to id the movies).

The only fix I have found is to delete the existing database and have it re-run a prior version of the database. When I do this, the auto-updater runs fine and everything appears to be fine (i.e. it updates the databae, ANT runs normally, and the MyFilms plugin works perfectly). However, the same problem returns the next time I run the Auto-Updater - it runs part way through, and then says it cannot parse the file and stops or creates the same error with MyFilms.

Any ideas?

Let me know what other information I need to provide to help get an answer to this problem.

Thanks.
