Same here.

Hi,
anyone has a problem launching the updater in batch mode??
I'm running vista and I cannot execute the updater while I'm in the myfilm plugin or as a scheduled job!

Any solution??
Thanks!
G.
Also same here!!! I've mentioned this before but no-one has been able to help. Its massive feature for me to be able to update my amc database from within Mediaportal. Any ideas? Can someone perhaps go over the process of setting this up within the configuration in case I'm doing something wrong. Currently in the 2 paths I use C:\Program Files (x86)\AMC Updater\AMCUpdater.exe AND C:\Program Files (x86)\AMC Updater\AMCUpdater_DefaultSettings.xml. is this right?

Hiya,

You'll need to send a message to Titoftit - he wrote the internet scraper component and would be the one to update the IMDB scripts. Obviously IMDB have changed something which has broken the image download feature. Hopefully it'll be quick and easy for him - no chance of me doing it since I really haven't a clue how that bit works!

Cheers,

Orion.

Try with that script.

Thank you very much but I have a problem that I don't know if it's because I'm running WIndows 7 or because of AMC Updater that I can update the information ok, I even saw the jpg files in my pictures folder but I can't view the jpg files in either windows or in ANT

New directory for movies

Love the AMC Updater plugin. I recently renamed my movies drive from H: to M: and now AMC Updater is not recognizing the videos. I changed the source to be M: but it still wants me to download all the information for all my movies. Is there a way to tell AMC Updater that the files are residing under a different drive letter, even though I already changed the path to M:?
please help:D

Ok, I figured out a solution. I opened the old xml file and replaced the H: with M: in every line item (using a simple 'replace all' command). It seems to have worked.
Now I'm having problems with the IMDB script as some people mentioned above (no cover art).
Wasn't having this problem with 0.8.0 but updated tonight to 0.8.7 and the problem happened.
I used the imdb.xml file posted above and it still doesn't download the cover art.

As good as the updater is the (non-existing) documentation is a BIG problem for people who didn't follow the threads since months.
E.g. how about a quickstart guide?

I'm stuck at the very first beginning: the scan filters. My filenames contain "AC3", "Divx",... How do I correctly set the filter to ignore these? I entered a line per such fragment but it doesn't work.

THanks
