Ampdroid - Plugin not available on server (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I have installed the Ampdroid on my HTC Hero phone (firmware 2.1 update 1), but I keep getting an "Plugin not available on server" error after connection.

On the server I've installed:
- MPExtended (default port 4322)
- WifiRemote (default port 8017)
- Bonjour
- Open the port 4322 in the Firewall (even though it looks like it was already open)

MP is running when trying to connect!

I created a client on the HTC Hero and connected to the server on port 4322. I can connect to the server and the green light turns on for a moment then back to red.
I can get access to the Webservices via the links in the config - also from the HTC Hero phone via browser.

When I try to access anything I get the "Plugin not available on server".

Any ideas of what I'm missing to get the app work?

Have you installed MovingPictures (for movies) and MP-TVSeries (for series) on the server?

No - but I'm going to!

Where do I get info about what plugins to install and how to configure to get access to all MP content?

Hello Lars.
If there is a list of points to revise on MP do I not know, but:
aMPdroid shows the latest added TVSeries, latest added MovingPictures and also latest recordings.

In the last consequence does this mean you need to configure succesfully:
- TVSeries if you have any series to manage
- MovingPictures (if any...)
- Latest Media Handler, shortly LMH
- the rest is zero config, or fine tuning in MPextended an WIFI remote control

Well, aMPdroid uses MovingPictures for the movies section, MP-TVSeries for the TV Shows section, the built-in video part of MP for videos, the built-in music part of MP for music, the WifiRemote plugin for the remote and the TV Server for the Tv part. So you'll need these to have all sections working That isn't required though, just install them for the sections you want to use. LatestMediaHandler isn't needed.

Oh, I apollogize for the wrong description. That was what I assumed to have running for an intact and working aMPdroid installation...
